WatWat got her T2i and wanted to try my wide angle and macro lens. These pics were taken with her 18-200mm.
I took Dubs out for a belated lunch at the Tallest Poppy. I had seen the sign before but hadn’t ever thought of going there (mostly because it’s in a pretty crappy part of town). Dubs had suggested it though, and I’m glad she did.
Humus sandwich, which is actually very tasty! (pink sauce is horseradish sauce to go with the sandwich.. guessing it has some beets in it too).
Art gallery/store next door to the restaurant.
Verdict: fairly good sushi for a good price. Not good enough that I would specifically go to that end of town for sushi… I’d still choose Sushi Cushi if I were in that area.
ONE day before the BIG day…. writing the Canadian Registered Nurses Exam. They had sent us a letter with instructions on what we were able to bring and what we were not allowed to bring. We were allowed to bring food but it had to be in a clear plastic bag. So I went the Bulk Barn and put together “care packages” for Suzie and I.
